Smartphone users already have a tremendously powerful device in their pockets. With the Sky Alert Safe Hub Smartphone App, their smartphone can also become their personal security device. Using proprietary software, the app gives users access to the full range of Sky Alert personal security features. The smartphone app is available to users in conjunction with the Sky Alert SOS Fob or can be separately purchased.
The Safe Hub Smartphone App works seamlessly across all operating systems (Android, iOS and Windows). Users can easily download the app from their relevant App Store or device management software, and they’ll be set up in minutes. The app uses all the in-built technologies in the user’s phone, including Global Position System (GPS) for location, GSM and GPRS communications technologies, and motion and shock sensors.
All Sky Alert safety features run unobtrusively in the background without interrupting the normal operation of the phone. And with SOS button keypad lock override, users will be able to trigger an alert at the touch of a screen, even when the phone is not actively in use.
